It's not the memories....it's where and what to do with all that crap. People are always trying to give me stuff, saying "you could sell it"....I ask them why they don't. I hate selling things these days. Everybody is an internet expert, and a cheap-ass.

Also, everyone wants to negotiate a “better” price.
If I see something that I really want that is way overpriced, I will walk on by... a couple of bucks and its mine!

All my hobbies involve buying and storing stuff for 3-4 decades. There isn't a price that can be put on saving stuff for the future. Cheap-asses, are the "negotiators". Too many people in hobbies, try to play over their heads. If I charged 35-cents a week, just to store a pistol, car-part, etc for 35 years............... These things take up room, and need to be stored properly.
As a collector of things, I also try to find good homes for the things I decide to sell.

Went away to college and returned to find my mother had given away my guns, Lionel trains and my stamp collections. I look for those 2 .22 rifles every time I go into a LGS.
