Correct. It just seems odd that the model is not marked on the gun from the factory, and I have to mark it myself. I’ve just never encountered that before.

Ok mystery solved. I called PTR and they confirmed via serial number I do have a K3P, but they do not mark the model anywhere on the gun.

Just checked now. With a flashlight I see a 7 or 8 digit number. It’s almost filled in with enamel, or whatever the black finish is. I got it a while back from Atlantic, so I know it wasn’t messed with.

Thanks everyone! The name has nothing to do with cars or bikes unfortunately. Back in the day I was a hardcore trapshooter. Most I shot with in our local league let the bird rise a bit but I’d smoke it right out of the house. I’d mess up the rhythm and called me “that damn speedfreak”.
