Another WW2 project gun that I drug home a few weeks ago.
This one was a sporterized 1943 K98k byf 43. When original, this rifle would have most likely had the laminated wood stocks that the Germans had begun using in the late 1930s, cupped steel butt plate, and been numbers matching on the...
My WW2 collection gained another rifle a couple weeks ago. This one popped up on a local gun board from a guy selling off a portion of his U.S. service rifles. I didn't get to examine the rifle in person, but the price was right and judging on the photos the seller sent me it looked really...
I got notification on my phone this afternoon while glassing a herd of 80 elk. Put the binos down and ordered up a 33 stock on my phone. Gotta love technology.

The 33 stocks are still showing available, but it sounds like the MP-5...
Need input from you "experts". :giggle:
Does this A3 stock look like the real deal to you? It looks to have an actual date stamped on it as opposed to a date code.....8/27/78 is what I think it reads.
The butt has nicks and scrapes, but the rest of the stock has hardly a scratch or mark. I'm...
.....for lately I have strayed from HK.
New projects.........
1956 Springfield Armory M1 Service Rifle with original 11/55 Springfield barrel, bolt, op-rod. Original finish!!
1955 Harrington and Richardson M1 Service Rifle. Re-parkerized and new barrel.
More pics later as I finish them out.
Bought a used VP-9 in grey a few months back. Then bought a long slide kit when they became available again. One frame, two slides. Cool but........incomplete.
Today problem solved. Used VP-9 frame with Lobos trigger and threaded barrel. Thank you @ORL-LLC for facilitating the transfer.
If anyone is interested.......
Didn't know these were a thing.

Last Monday I traveled to Central Orygun to pick up my trail cameras that I had out since April. At one location I had two cameras stacked on the same tree since I didn't fully trust the older camera. I put a second cheaper camera up as insurance.
When I approached the tree, I soon saw that...
Seeing some really minty Polish PPS-43 parts kits available right now. Anyone on here attempt a build of one of these?

I have two A2 stocks. The one on the left is stamped "id" on the butt pad and "ii" on the stock body. The one on the right is stamped 7/2/77. No other markings.
Pretty sure the one on the left is HK. Not sure about the one on the right. These are MP5 stocks btw.
Thoughts?
Ultra Rare? No affiliation. Same seller also has a Model 4 .22LR and a P9-S in 45ACP.

What else is a quarantined guy supposed to do? Build a VP-9 Long Slide. Thank you Al Gore for online internet shopping. Now I need to go actually shoot it.
Does anyone have an example of a rack number on a set of surplus furniture? I have a set of green HK 33 furniture that I am considering adding a number to on the stock. I'm curious to know font, size of the numbering, etc.

Anyone on here put a Vortex Viper or Venom on a VP-9L or other such handgun? The price of $250 is attractive and I have a bunch of Cabela's points to burn. Thinking about ordering one up.
