I purchased this "pig in a poke", and I'm trying to identify the makers of the parts assembled here.
I'm guessing the barrel-nut should be a give-away to someone.
It's having some cycling/charging issues, and I'll be disassembling stuff till it's resolved.

Looks like it's a JD Machine Tech gun and handguard. Here's an internet archive link to their AR-10 page. You can see in the thumbnail it's the same rail. When you click into the "Rail Systems" page, though, the two archive captures they have of that page don't show the actual close-up images unfortunately. Based on what I saw online, it sounds like that company went out of business roughly a decade ago.
