Was the stock welded to the trigger pack housing, and spot welds in magazine well to prevent insertion of HK33/53/93 magazines?

Tony
Yes the stock is spot welded in 4 spots to the trigger housing. There are welds in the magwell to prevent “high capacity” from being inserted. Both spot welds and magazine blocks could easily be removed by a qualified gunsmith.

The “blocks” in the magwell look more like 2 blobs of cold welds to me.

I just took the buffers out, and threw that crap away. Those welds are very hard in the magwell.

Some of the mag blocks are welded in better than others. Ask me how i know. No matter its just time and patience with the mill and dremmel.

As for the stock if you want to save it you will have to sacfirice the grip frame but its butchered anyways having the push pin holes cut off.

The second pin-hole is useless, also. Trashcan fodder. My time is worth more than that.

Yes it look like it cost a pretty penny to get this looking more like a traditional HK93. Sitting in the box until I decide what I want to do with it. Its killing me not to shoot it but if I decide not to keep it I want it to be NEW for the next owner.

Good buy for that price. The forward pin is welded and a front shelf added. Didn't these take a special 10 round magazine and not able to take hi cap mags?

I had 3. One is my 33K, one is a suppressor host and setup for a sear, and the other is NIB and at my FFL's shop for resale. The 2nd one will be put back to as shipped and sold. I'll probably part-out the 33K and demill it to ATF specs.
