Cerakote & Factory Slide Engraving

HK Slide Cerakote - Anyone that has this, please advise. Photos welcomed!

Is the HK engraving (s/n, DE, and other markings), deep enough to “survive” the application of Cerakote. Would keep the original color of factory HK plating.

I would want to restore the white coating that fills the engraving as close to original as
possible.

cerokote will not affect engravings, its not more than a couple mils thick

Thank you so much. I’m so excited about my first HK…. Laughing at myself for being so concerned. HUMOR ALERT: Like caring for my firstborn . Well… It is my first HK.
Lastly…. Am I wrong for saying “TICK TOCK” to my wife as I wait for dinner? As in John Wick…
