Nah, but if that does come to pass I will sell mine because $$$ in the bank I can use for other stuff.
Carlos and Mike will have to see about making some, if that happens the prices will come down, if not well some people will have to grab their ankles if they want one.

What does it take to convert a normal 4 pos pack to work in one of those frames

You cant, the inlayed metal supports are not the same between E gun grip frames and normal grip frames.

A lot less E guns out there so less supply to begin with.

I've got a housing... should have clarified... what does it take to make a internal pack work on the 21e/23e.

Is your pack a SEF or Burst? Additionally, do you have a RR 21e/23e (build) or a (clone) MM or BPP 21e/23e?

It's a 4 pos burst. I've got a few extra I can chop and use on a semi hk23e. I'm 07/02. Hk belt fed might be next on my list :)

Now I've seen a couple rare original HK21e/23e (virgins) that I was told are transferable, if you are willing to shell out well over $100K (and that is probably low). There are those who have gone down the road of having RR G3s built into 21e/23e platforms (parts are expensive and scarce). These guns, being registered receivers, take an unaltered 21e/23e burst housing without needing to be 'cut' as required on a MM or BPP clone; the latter are built as Title 1 semiautos and have a small ATF approved/required block installed (akin to a shelf) to prevent 'drop in' of a F/A unaltered HK21e/23e trigger pack.

The guts of a typical 4 pos burst pack need to have a 21e/23e ejector lever w/proper lever spring (the spring is different), plus the proper hammer spring that is for the HK91/93/G3 (not MP5 hammer spring). I take it you have a 'postie' type burst pack with roller trip sear; if so, the sear trip lever tip should be 'bobbed'/chopped.

You mentioned a semi HK23e, so would assume you are probably looking at a MM23e or BPP23e platform. If so, then the burst housing will have to be cut/altered to allow it to fit over the 'block' feature in the forward portion of the receiver where the grip frame mounts (as shown circled below). (Disregard the measurement comment; this was for Mike Otte when I asked him if he needed this measurement when adding my sear to an unaltered burst pack to fit my MM23e).

First of all thank you for such a detailed post. Add this to the long list of why this site is better than that other one...

You answered all my questions. In summary I can take my housing, make a cut to match the "shelf" on a semi gun, and then swap out ejector and hammer/hammer spring on my post pack and have fun. Just need to buy a 23e now :)

IMHO, a MM23e or BPP23e would be the way to go. Perhaps others here can chime in on the BPP platform to validate the semiauto 'block' feature that makes these ATF approved as Title 1 guns.

As for the MM23e, Mike asked me if I was going to use the same burst pack in other hosts, albeit with the correct hammer spring, ejector, etc. swapped out. I'd assume it can be put into a normal clipped-n-pinned housing for other '90-series toys; perhaps I'll try this when the fun runs out on the MM23e/21e platform - which I highly doubt that will ever happen.

BTW, this was the price spotted on Mike's table at the last Knob Creek event; sorry the tag is a bit out of focus.

I have a fn249 and it will never "get old" to shoot. But I caught the HK bug and will likely get one of these next. Just need to move some other stuff first.
