Is #3 a Garand in 30.06?

3 is a Garand. Manly rifle. Shoot a hundred outta one sometime, and then remember how small people were in the 40's. Serious respect to our vets. I always wanted and passed on #2. I just didn't want to add another caliber to my collection.
The HK SL7 has a bunch of lineage, visually. Germans....

You buy PPU or just make it yourself. The hard part is finding the 198g pellets in FMJ . Most 8mm pellets are short 150g SP's and are difficult to get proper OAL for feeding.
