Hi everyone, I am currently in the middle of taking off the black plastic stock so I can replace it with a wood stock and I cant seem to get the butt plate with stop springs off. I've attached 2 pics, any advice would be much appreciated.

NEW To HK-91's is see :)

Put the last 1" of the stock in a Vice (Covered with Cardboard if you don't want to damage it)
and POP OFF the small part that your shoulder rests on.
Talk a LONG screwdriver and remove the screw that attached the stock to the buffer.

The wood stock simply has two screws I believe

I've always put the buttpad in soft-jaws and a rag, in my vise...and yanked on the stock. Push on it in several directions. They pop right off. Shouldn't be any damage, but is cheaper and more solid in the vise, than the hollow stock.
