There was a guy over at the FALFiles building these from kits. He's a real craftsman, the kits required all sorts of machine work.
They were beautiful when finished. IIRC he sold them for about $10k each.

I think the receivers are about 5-600 bucks.

Believe that it was GB--- that Kern scope/mount is probably worth $7.5K+.
The buyer that paid the same price for the SIG PE57 without the scope did not get a very good deal--- unless both buyers are one and the same.
