I was giving my trusty old Cetme some lovin' this morning. Gave it a good cleaning. oiled the furniture, etc etc.
I disassembled the buffer, was going to clean out the guts, and found this instead of a spring...
Some sort of spring substitute. Seems to be in good condition. I'm going to leave it alone for the time being.
Anyone shed any light on it? Ever seen one? I've had this rifle for about 15 years and I didn't install it.
As cheap as Century is I cant imagine they did it.
