Probably converted to SG1 configuration. :) This G3FS is dated 1960--- the G3 SG1 was not introduced until 1972. ;) My guess is that no more G3 SG1's were made after 1986, since the PSG1 replaced it in 1983. :unsure: Tony

Don't do anything to the receiver--- or to the mount for that fact--- have you tried a newer claw mount (i.e., not an older one for a G3, but a newer one for the HK91 with the 2 raised tabs on the top of the receiver)? :unsure: Tony

Do the 2 rear vertical tabs on the top receiver (just forward of the rear sight base) interfere with the mount in any way? :unsure: Tony
