Any new HK should be field stripped, cleaned and lubed. I wouldn't say the packing grease would be called lube that the handguns are shipped with. I run mine wet and well lubed. Never had a problem with any of them.

I feel ashamed being a Southpaw after seeing this, but then again, you'd have something to snack on all day.
