When I did my K('s) I just eyeballed them, its pretty self explanatory when you have the parts in your hands. You kinda wanna fit that stuff yourself anyways, instead of working with some magical number of where to cut.

Ive used those flats before, awhile back. The small holes on top are locators for the weldments specifically made for that flat (the rear sight, scope tab etc have small posts that go into those holes) The LSC flat is a much better flat, but those old ones like the one you posted can be made...

MP5's are always fun projects

It will eventually be painted black, I still think I want to touch up some of the welds before I blast it and give it a final finish but for now its Krylon "pimp-daddy" gold...

I've been trying to SBR this MP5 build since early december of 2021. It was denied once before this. Just been a hassle the whole way through. The longest I've ever waited for an approved form 1 prior to this gun was 19 days.

I wish 4's only took 10 days. Tomorrow will be day 30 on my (second attempt) form 1 for my MP5 :(
