Members ammo

All of it. 🤣🤣🤣

Edit. Ok, I admit the 13 mm gyrojet is a bit pricey for edc

Was digging around in the mancave and came across two boxes of original Hydra-Shock ammo; think I got these back in the early 90s...

I don't even have a .30-06 but collected these full boxes years ago to adorn the mancave:

This souvenir from the aircraft in my Avatar...
Location: Nellis AFB, NV. Date: 11 Mar 1988. Aircraft: Thunderbird F-16A 81-0679 (Blk 15), aka: 'War Bird'.
This was the first ever USAF Thunderbird Aircraft to be tasked to see if we could convert a show aircraft over to its operational fighter configuration within 72 hours.
Working around the clock, we removed the smoke oil system and installed a M61A1 20mm Gun and Ammo Handling System. Wing Weapon Stations had to be troubleshot to pass their functional stores management tests for stations that had never operated since coming off the production line six years earlier. We had to locate the 20mm gun & handling system, which we surprisingly found all of the Thunderbird aircraft's guns located just next door in an adjacent hanger, all brand new in storage boxes. We tasked the 57th Fighter Wing Weapons Flight to inspect the gun & perform an annual inspection/lube.
500 rounds of 20mm ammo was uploaded along with six live 500lb MK82 General Purpose Bombs; the Chaff & Flare System Magazines were also loaded. To top it off, an ECM Pod was installed on centerline Sta 5 and four (captive) AIM-9 Sidewinder Missiles were installed on Wing Sta 1,2,8 & 9 (functional seeker heads, but no rocket motors).
Our Logistics Officer, Maj B.J. Java, flew the mission over the Nellis Range and successfully expended all the ammo, dropped all six bombs, operated the ECM Pod and expended all the chaff and flares. Upon return to base, I snagged two empty 20mm casings and gave one to Maj Java and he autograph mine with the event date. Mission success. We then converted the aircraft back over to its airshow configuration. (The 20mm HEI-T tip is for show only)
My brother later saw the pictures and asked if we were practicing for the Pyongyang Air Show...
