HK are now collaborating with A-Tec, a Norwegian suppressor maker (article includes a new 433 photo):

I was just looking for this company, I saw these cans in an old email and couldn't remember the name. Curious on how well they sound on the 416 and MP7 with the various size length options and all

I bought a USP 9mm tactical as a forever gun along with an A-Tec suppressor. My slide cracked in two places and Hk pretty much said f-you because it was an unauthorised suppressor. less than 2000 through the gun and less than 600 through the suppressor. Not a happy camper!!!

Welcome to the site.
Would you mind elaborating a bit more on how the damage was done?
I know a suppressor can beat a pistol slide up, but when used with a Nielsen Device/ piston, it usually prevents damage.
I have used YHM suppressors with a booster installed and never had an issue.
Im really curious as what caused the damage.
Also, im not contradicting or casting any shade on you at all.

Thanks and welcome again!

Hi Thanks for the welcome,
I wish I knew, I had been shooting drills with another weapon and decided to finish up the day by shooting some steel suppressed. Nice day 4*c out, first mag ran no problem and about 8 rounds into the second mag the slide cracked in two places with the slide half way open. The suppressor had less than 200 rounds through it since last cleaned. A-Tec has a Nielson Device and had been lubed with A-Tec grease. Did not think something like that could happen to a USP. Also HK and A-Tec are or have worked together developing suppressors.
More upset with Waimex the European distributor for HK. It was one of their reps that told my dealer that it was an unauthorised suppressor.
Question, have you ever seen a list of approved suppressors?

I believe that the only authorized suppressors are KAC and B&T.
Did you purchase the USP in Germany? ;)

I purchased it in Sweden through a local dealer who got it from Waimea. Thanks for the suppressor info.

Wow! Hopefully no one got hurt!
Did you reach out to HK directly and just their dealer?
I have heard wonderful things about HK Customer Service.

Thanks,
M.
Thanks, no one was injured. I just thought at it had failed to feed. I still haven't reached out to HK, I was waiting to hear back form the dealer. Will probably do so this week.
