I have been looking at the US made UMP mags on HKparts.net . These are the gen 2 version. I see a lot of mixed reviews on the gen 1 mags but not the gen 2. Does anyone have experience with them?

I just pulled the trigger on a UMP clone on gunbroker, a Gideon Shadow. Originally I was thinking about an USC and converting it but the shadow was the price of an unconverted USC and its in a pistol configuration. The thought of a USC with 16” barrel made me cringe.

Can we have a sub for building and technical info??
