It’s not one piece, but multiple pieces all welded together to look like it’s all one.

The biggest issue is getting the cage straight with the barrel. Once you get that done, the front sight isn't bad.....its the prep work to get it to that point is the hard part. Lot of back and forth welding to make sure things don't pull.

Yeah prices are up and down....given you can even get them right now. Bolt carrier groups have dried up again from RCM. They are on a backlog and not sure when they will get caught up. I have a couple SD's on hold until I can get said items.

I have to say that I have some new front runners who have taken the lead on my favorite non HK pistols...I have a pair of Staccato 2011’s....a C2 and a P with threaded barrel. These are amazing pistols and well worth the money!
