I have this little guy I got on ebay for pretty cheap; https://www.ebay.com/itm/383926405601 For the money, so far it's been pretty good. Its DC/Inverter so its pretty lightweight. A basic machine but will run gas too, not just flux. And its a 110v unit.

Would welding there be preferred over welding the notch/slots in the stock arms?

Good morning all. Anyone have any tips for tightening up a loose A3 single-pin stock? The one I have here has an excessive amount of vertical play when the stock is extended out. Putting some pressure on the latch (further closed direction) seems to help a little but still has a bit up/down...

Marlin makes a 38/357 lever action thats threaded... If you have a 9mm can....that would be the route I'd go. I'd imagine some mild 38 special loads out of that would make you giggle like a school girl.

Doing any lathe work? I got a bubba "tanker" mauser that need the muzzle end turned down and cleaned up. It won't fit in the little HF lathe.
