I had one of the very early ones. I sold it, after cleaning it...ONCE. I fit a real A2 on mine. Waste of a stock, as the buyer didn't care.

I don't know who had those or bought them, but mine as much nicer and more elaborate. My Colt guy says that they're probably worth 80% of what I paid for the pistol. It doesn't matter, as it's a memory piece.

Just got this from a deceased friend's brother. My Colt expert friend, will be cleaning and tuning. The ammo in the ejected mag, was from 1980. I have a pistol from from many of my deceased friends.....

I've been giving all my old and weird ammo to my FFL, for decades. He's had all kinds of old stuff displayed all over his store. I don't really have any fondness for stuff before my generation in my hobbies.

If you're keeping it 45 and file a form-1, I'd chop it. A lot cheaper than HK parts......@ender.

My first build was a 45 carbine. I'm sending the barrel off for threading. The second will be a 9mm SBR. Have all the parts, just have to do the form-1.
