Yes the conversion does permanently alter the upper receiver. Even though it's not visible. It's about half the cost to get the barrel cut and threaded as opposed to a new Barrel. I think I'm just going to get it whacked

The decocker would make a range safety officer/trainer cringe. You have to drop the lever then pull the trigger to decock. Other than that it's an awesome pistol
