14-1/2 Inch 91k ?

With braces in limbo and pistol type 308's and PDW / SBR's generating so much interest, why aren't there 14-1/2 inch barrels available for pin and weld to meet 16" min?
Surprised PTR isn't building them. Has anyone tried one?

Not aware of any major manufacturer doing this, but I do like the idea of a 14.5" barrel on the G3 Series.

14-1/2" gains about 100fps over 12-1/2", no tax stamp $ or wait with pin & weld, MKE collapsible stock on sale for $275. What's not to like, surprising someone isn't manufacturing them. Would be a sweet truck gun.
Looks like flash hider only adds about 1.25" so don't take 14-1/2" as gospel without measuring.
