A P7 that shoots .22 shorts and pellets

Here is an interesting P7. This was designed for German law enforcement agencies who did not have access to shooting ranges that could accommodate large bore weapons. It has a .22 barrel and cartridges that allow it to shoot .22 shorts or pellets. The .22 shorts fit into a cartridge which converts centerfire to a rimfire via a plunger. The pellet cartridges are charged with an air pump and then a pellet is placed inside. Makes shooting a P7 in your Garage safe and fun!

Looking like a lot of fun. Do you have any pictures of the pistol on both sides. Would be interested in seeing how this was marked.

Most excellent--- is this a production unit, or a conversion unit? :unsure:

This pistol configuration was never offered a commercial piece. I originally thought it was an aftermarket modification, but the slide tells a different story. The breach was milled out before the slide was blued which indicates it was done at the factory.
