Hello all,
If any of you are detail nuts like me, you probably want to know which manual came with your gun if you're missing it. I have a couple of USP variants that I am chasing down the correct manual for, and I figure I'd start a thread posting the manuals I have. Feel free to chime in here with your manual dates and iterations as it pertains to your gun and any details (Came with it brand new, purchased after the fact etc.) I will collate the results as pictures and info come in. Thanks for reading and contributing info if you have a manual printing that I don't have yet.
To start:
USP Elite (.45acp) date code AH (2007). This manual came with the pistol when I purchased it used, so I cannot verify it is the absolute correct year of printing. That said, the manual year generally makes sense (Feb. 2006 version, and the pistol came with the correct serial-matched box, HK sticker and HK-marked lock. Unless other versions of this manual list another printing date that makes more sense, I believe this to be the correct manual iteration:
USP Expert (.45acp) date code AB (2001). This manual has a sticker on a an un-peeled backing stapled to the inside cover with the correct serial number for my pistol. I'm sure that Tony or others more knowledgeable than me could confirm, but I believe this was stapled here at the factory as this pistol came with the grey Eagle case and there isn't anything to really stick the sticker to. I also bought this gun used, but it came with the case and all accessories. I am confident this is the correct printing for my date code.
USP (.45acp) date code KF (1995). I also bought this pistol used, and it came in a standard grey USP plastic box without any stickers applied. The revision date makes sense. Should be correct?
More to come!
