This just happened this morning as I was going through my FB groups. Someone posted this picture on an HK FB forum at his local shop. I messaged him and he was kind enough to provide me the name of the place which I immediately called. The K3 is the .380 new in box on consignment. The guy was willing to come down $500 but what I didn't know until I called is the black box underneath in the picture was also included in that price which is a NEW IN BOX .22 conversion KIT! I couldn't pay the guy fast enough but it's on its way to me and should arrive tomorrow or Monday depending. I will be sure to post good pictures once it gets here. This is one of the few times I can say something positive about the Book of Faces!!0620AF19-3EAB-47D6-AF8D-8477350F86A9.jpeg

This is a smoking deal. Smoking.

Can't tell from here if that is a USA prefix serial number or "real" German gun? Matching # with the .22 kit, or NSN on the kit slide?

Still a great deal either way. You saved anywhere from $3-5K.

Good grief I passed on one of these about 11 years ago for $1200. Had the 32 and 22 conversion and it still haunts me to this day. Nice score!

I had a German 32/22cal setup, that was NIB. If they'd made all the P7 pistols this size, I "might" have become a fan. They didn't, and I didn't.

I agree, I would love to have the 380 as a regular shooter/carry gun. Unfortunately due to the value and the fact any parts are unobtanium, they have to sit around. If I could get my hands on one more 380 I might consider it as long as I had a complete parts gun.

9mm is small as I go.

When my FFL had lunch with the Wayne County Coroner [Detroit], he asked what was the deadliest round. The Coroner said the most frequently devastating stuff he saw on the table, was from .22 magnum.

UPDATE: the gun and kit came today and if it was possible is better than expected. The gun and kit appear to be truly new in box plus the 22 kit came with two EXTRA mags in the wrap! I need to go buy a lottery ticket!
