Basically a lightweight MG5 designed to compete with the Minimi Mk 3/Mk 48. Differs from the MG5 in that it doesn't use a side folding stock (usese either a HK416 or MP7 type stock) and is side ejecting instead of bottom ejecting, which means that ammo boxes/pouches can be mounted directly under the receiver.
