- scopes (Kern 4x24/formally ordered in 1974 by the Army for the “Rustungsprogramme (Armament) 74”, with first deliveries made in August, 1974, coinciding with the
retirement of the Zf.Kar.55; 100 released to civilian market (serial numbers- 140176 through 140275); 20 converted in early 1990’s to ZF90 for Stgw90, with different
elevation knobs on top (serial numbers- 140278 through 140297); GRD manufactured objective lens cover protector, cleaning kit case (special etui- inside flap, e.g.,
“SE/75”) and cleaning kit contents (duster brush/buckskin), neutral density filter, and Wez Kunststoffwerke manufactured carrying cases in the mid-1970’s; 7.5 graduated 100-
800 meters/5.56 graduated 100-600 meters; illumination by T 0.9 Ci tritium cold light cell)
a) “P” prefix for 1 of 5 prototypes for the PE90
