Basically a new, broadly (very broadly) AR-15 based rifle designed around the .264 USA round.
Main features are:
--AR-15 inspired basic controls
--Dual side mounted charging handles that are non-reciprocating
--Like the Sig MCX, it uses a folding stock
--Uses propetary mags for the 6.5x43mm/.264 USA round (rounds were too wide to fit properly in a polymer STANAG mag, though OAL is the same)
--Internal system is a long stroke piston operating a three-lug rotating bolt.
--Was teamed up in the same program with a version of the FN Evolys LMG firing the same round
