New P30 Requires Lubrication

I bought a P30 last week. I took it to the range and got pelted with spent shells. Of course I was disappointed. This never happened to me with any HK pistol. I called HK when I returned home and was told to purchase SLIP 2000 EWL CLP Gun Lube and lubricate the pistol. Before I had time to buy the stuff, I put Slide Glide on the slide and went back to the range. It was a world of difference. The shells now went the the back right side of me. Since that trip to the range, the SLIP 2000 EWL CLP Gun Lube was delivered and I applied it to the slide. I haven't been back to the range to see how the SLIP 2000 EWL CLP Gun Lube works. If it is even better than the Slide Glide than it is one heck of a product. Hopefully the spent shells will go fully to the right at a ninety degree angle to the pistol. I'll try to get time for a range trip Tuesday or Wednesday.

To continue: SLIP 2000 EWL CLP Gun Lube certainly helped a lot. The ejected shells no longer hit my face and even land in a pocket on the left side of my shirt. I do have a question: as the pistol is new with only about 100 rounds through it, can I expect to the ejected shells to fly even more to the right? Now, while they no longer hit me in my face, they still travel to the rear to my right side without hitting my face. I hope that after a few hundred rounds the shell's trajectory moves even more to the right. Thank you for any answers.
