I picked this up awhile ago and now I’m wondering is it factory nickel or was it done by a previous owner?

Never seen one like that--- probably refinished--- parade magazine for another country (?). :unsure:

Refinish an HK93 similarly--- a version of the Qatar Royal Guard rifle (Valmet M71-76). ;)
