Possibly I should have been more clear......it's not original. I have seen perhaps a half dozen M13 mags over the years that came with M13's I imported that had either rubber base pads or a metal weighted setup like this......one was a complete replacement base plate/weight that replaced the factory base plate. It's kicking around the gun room someplace.......none of them are factory original. Rubber base pad I can see, the weight really accomplishes nothing, it's an answer to a question no one asked as M13 mags drop free by themselves.
