I believe it was 1993, and the big shake-up at SIG to Sigarms. Sigarms decided to run a limited-edition 229, to celibrate the USA and the original colonies. They were gonna run a series of pistols, dedicated to the 13 colonies. They first one being the home-state of New Hampshire. 50 of each pistol were to be made with special serial numbers, and included a hardwood presentation-box. Anyways, the story is that the guy in charge got canned, and only the New Hampshire pistols were produced. A guy I used to shoot with, was at SHOT that year, and hounded them for one of the pistols [most went to employees/friends] In the end, they sold him one. It turned-out to be #50. [You know what they say about first and last] He decided he wanted another expensive handgun, and sold it to me. 25 years later, So, here's a true cataloged oddity from Sigarms.
I'm using a couple file pics, as I didn't take many pics.
