While I admit that it doesn't look bad - it's just not HK correct. Has anybody removed Testors paint from filled roll marks (without damage of course)?

I am not 100% but I would think some nail polish remover, qtips and a stiff bristle brush should work. I have done this on ARs but not a high dollar pistol so YMMV

Yes. That is if you can get MEK where you live. I have to get mine from my brother up in Montana (still available up there in gal cans at Lowe's or Home Depot). Wonderful stuff and most folks don't even know about it. We used MEK in the Air Force up to the late 90s on virtually every material for cleaning/prepping for bonding; that is until the tree-hugging environmentalist started pushing their kindler gentler better for the environment will help save the whales and elusive spotted owls...cleaning agent BS...

BTW, I've done the same thing with Testors paint filling in the roll marks; a bit of MEK will quickly take off the Testors model paint. I've used it on the Nylon 66 frames and magazines too and it doesn't mess with the underlying Nylon base material whatsoever.

The last pic of burst housing & selector is actually all my handiwork with a toothpick and some Testors White & Red with a hint of Yellow paint mixed in that mirrors the HK 'red' color (which is not true red, but more of a red-orange color). Whatever HK uses as filler colors in these pictogram housings absolutely SUCKS. Now, I can brush away on this housing with a toothbrush and Dawn Dishwashing Soap & water without that lame $hit that HK puts in there from dissolving in soap & water...

Ok guys, thanks for all the input. Off to find some MEK.

ETA: um, maybe I'll start with nail polish remover and work my way up o_O

Excellent work on the fill-in. 😲
