Alerts preferences...not sure what to check/uncheck

I am getting alerts when someone posts in the same thread I posted in, whether I started the thread or not...the Alert goes something like this >> 'Member X replied to the thread in X thread X'. See below screenie.
I don't mind alerts, but I don't need an alert when others post in a thread I posted in / started. Any help checking/unchecking the proper box for these un-wanted alerts would be most appreciated.

Click on your name in the upper right and select 'preferences' - check desired level of interruptions as seen below :D
