Well I finally went and did it.....I went full retard and ordered a new Ohio Ordnance Works M2HB SLR semi automatic 50 caliber belt fed yesterday. I should have it by the end of April. My plan is to make a post sample conversion bolt for it at some point. This will be my first non HK or HK based gun in quite awhile!

Yes I’ll post pics once I get it and no I won’t dump 200 rounds at one time.....maybe 50 rounds tho....

If you don't get vehicle mount you need 4 or 5 good range buddys to load, set up and carry ammo.

Did the same last year, just not OOW. Make double sure you are getting all M2 parts. They are in short supply, have been for years, and for those years people have been building .50 belt feds with M3 parts but as "M2" ground mount guns. I paid extra for an all new in wrap, recent (ie not WWII) production all M2 parts set from BMG, with new stellite lined barrel. The build was done by JnC. JnC, like OOW, also makes semi M240's.

That’s the one nice thing with OOW is they make a lot of their own parts now so it’ll all be M2 not M3. I’m tempted to buy one of the M240-SLR’s as well....just kinda hard to swing it right now.

Nah, you need a ring mount on a 5-ton tactical.

Picked up 2,500 rds of 4/1 tracer tonight....I’m picking up the M2-SLR tomorrow at 3:00 EST.....already got my tripod, pintle, plus T&E loaded in the truck....
