My 2nd Gen. 1873 SAA Colt lettered to the first month of production in 1956. I bought it at a local garage sale in WA for $300, gun + an Arvo Ojala quick draw holster. It was a 5.5” .38 SPL and had been heavily used in the late 50’s and early 60’s for fast draw competition. I sold the holster for $250.

The gun was pretty worn and the case color was 80% worn off. I sent to the Colt Custom Shop for a complete refinish and a caliber/barrel change. I got a 4.75” .45 barrel + a .45 Colt cylinder and a .45 ACP unfitted cylinder. I also got a set of Colt Custom Shop 1-piece ivory grips installed. This was in the late 80’s and just the grips were $444. It went on for 6 years as my SASS side arm. After moving to AZ I was pleased to find out that it was the AZ State gun.

That is a smoking hot pistol.............and you take EXCEPTIONAL PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣I'm too old to carry them now. Just saw a YouTube on one. If anyone gets a working one there are a lot of things that can get you in trouble with 20k volts.

Hint. That is not standard coax cable 🤪

Fit's in my watch pocket, and don't notice any extra weight. I wish the other side of my jeans had another watch pocket, for a spare mag.
That’s very interesting. I didn’t realize it was that compact. Sounds like you found a winner!
How does it shoot? Recoil, accuracy, balance?
I like Kimbers but never played with the micro 9mm.
