My 5-ton had quite the military career. It left the Kenosha KJ plant in '67, went to 'Nam.

It was assigned to a unit tied to the 1st Armored, according to the bumper numbers.

A dataplate says it was rebuilt in Sagami Depot, Japan in '75.

Apparently it was shipped over to Nurnenburg with the 1st again.

Rebuilt once again in '85, then off to Desert Shield/Storm with a really crappy desert paintjob.

After that, it wound up back in the US at Alameda, Ca and, sold to me in '93 at a DRMO (remember them?) sealed bid.

But I digress...

It's not done but got the 2 camera system and 5000 watt inverter up and running, mounting a 110 gallon auxsilery diesel tank when I get home next week. Cheers my friend

Looks awesome! That 5K inverter is a nice touch!
But dang… 110 gallon aux diesel tank will cost an HK to fill that bad boy up!!!!
