Thought I'd start a thread about guitars..
I've played off & on for 43+ years & my Sons are the Rock Stars Now Days..
I'll try & post a few pictures from the PCs Hard Drive..
Ovation, Gibsons, Ibanez, Jackson, PRS & Brian Moore + Many Others..
Now you why I'm So Poor.. We have like 20-30 or more + amps pedals & lots of gear.. Synthesizers, two full size organs + so much stuff I've forgot about..
There's some upstairs I haven't seen in over a year.. These are all in my sons room + a half dozen in the basement too..

Impressive collection of strings.

Tony

Very nice! I haven't played since about 1980, but my wife and I have collected lots of autographed wall-hangers from Meet and Greets. I think we have about 22-24 guitars. We only have room to hang a dozen. Got some really good ones....all hard-rock and metal, for the most part.

I tried to get lessons when I was growing up but it didn't take... all I remember was my teachers name was Damian and he was hot... lol... only a year older than me. He never paid me any attention other than to be his student... what a disappointment... you know what they say... you can't win them all... lol.

I met Ozzy back in the 80s along with Randy Rhoads, Rudy Sarzo & Tommy Aldridge
Here's a pic I snapped of Zakk Wilde when we saw him at a small little concert in Louisville about a year ago with my two Sons

Very cool. Zakk is really a great guy. We hung out with BLS at a small venue in Mt. Clemens Mi. That was during a Stanley-Cup play off series. We took him a real Wings, black practice jersey, with his name on the back, and the year for the number. He handled it like a Christmas present. He laughed, cause he's a Devils fan. We knew that. ;)

I had 6 or 7th row seats for the "Blizzard of OZ" tour. Ozzy was so humble on stage. I don't think he thought he was gonna get the reception from the public that he did. Def Leppard opened for him, and couldn't get an encore. Give that a couple years....LOL

Zakk was very cool to us too
All three of us can play most of Ozzy's songs
After meeting Randy & His untimely death changed my life somewhat
I am still online friends with Rudy Sarzo He later was in Whitesnake & BOC
Good Memories for Sure!!

I went to the Blizzard of Oz concert but missed Diaries of a Madman
My Twin brother went to both

Been thinking about selling my Gibson Les Paul M-III & Jackson skull guitars
Get what their worth + Some.. Both are Rare..

I like a bunch of "Stoner Rock". These guys are my favorite. Talk about guitar playing.....

Monster Magnet = They are HEAVY, I remember them..
Love the custom belly button boob pickguard on the Tele with the Low E string caught on the neck pickup ;)

If You are from Detroit MichiGUN you must be a KISS fan
My Wife & I have been to several Kiss gigs & met them all more than once & to Kiss conventions
My Wife Sang with Bob Kulick @ One Concert.. She's a very good singer just like Her Daddy was..
Bob Kulick passed away not long ago.. He was a great guitar player known for side 4 of Kiss Alive II
He played for Donna Summer that's how Gene Simmons met him & his brother Bruce.
Met Bruce Kulick about a year ago again He put on a ESP/LTD guitar clinic @ Mom's Music.
Also met Bruce & Eric Singer @ another convention in Louisville @ a Hotel..
They loved my youngest son then who could play when he was 5-6 better than most adults
Bruce said to watch out for that kid..
We have a huge KISS collection down in my dungeon

Look what asking about guitars has started

I play a couple of times a week, mostly I play along with TAB and Youtube videos. Truth be known, I've got nicer guitars than I deserve but I've got a job and I enjoy them. I've got the following in my collection:

Taylor 814CE, my favorite acoustic
Martin D35
Gibson Les Paul, my favorite electric
Fender American Telecaster
Marshall Tube Amp

I've got some others but not as nice as the ones above.

Just sent you an PM ENDER
Thanks again Bro
Thanks G. I'm digging through my stuff as we speak to find what you want. They are here somewhere.

I saw KISS in 1988 w/o makeup at Northern Michigan University. A 3000 person fieldhouse. Traveled 1 1/2 from Michigan Tech in a snowstorm both ways. We didn't care - good memories. Remember playing those Double Platinum CD's in the dorm room with a high end receiver, big ass speakers and a component equalizer that we thought was so cool.

Awesome stuff. I love red guitars......
I saw Kiss at the Michigan Palace in 1974.[thought it was 73] There's a youtube video of it.
They were hungry, raw, and killer. I wasn't a KISS fan for too many years. I love it at the 31 minute mark.
