The reason why we were seeing the MR308A6 at trade shows this year? I present the G210 DMR/sniper rifle to be used by German Army SOF (note, link is in German, and their cookies notice interferes with Google Translate's site and accessing the link):

"After the delivery of the HK437 .300BLK as G39 SD was commissioned only a few months ago"

I actually found this little blurb near the end to be of as much or even more interest. I would be buying an H&K 7.62 but proprietary mags are a NO-GO. The day they offer it from the factory to take PMAGS I'm there. Not until.

HK437 uses HK's STANAG mags (though maybe modified to accept .300 Blackout to prevent ammo mix ups with 5.56mm/.233 Rem), though at least externally the .300 mags are marked "300" and have three dot impressions on them. However, the 437 uses the same magwell dimensions as the 433, which uses normal AR-15 mag/NATO spec mags including HK's 5.56mm PMAGs that have been out a few years.

I probably should have been more clear, I was referring to my desire for a H&K 7.62x51, but the 2x-3x as much $$ for a non-standard mag is a deal breaker. Even then it's more about the non-standard thing than the $$ thing. Make a lower in PMAG and my order will be in. I believe that's true for others as well but as usual............
