I joined because I wanted to know more about HK!
I only understand a little English, so I am translating.
I'm translating so my English is a bit strange but please forgive me.

Semi-automatic or Bolt-action hunting rifles and shotguns are permitted.
Military guns are permitted as long as they are deactivated.
Hunting guns are also subject to strict regulations, making them difficult to own.

I'm assuming that anything that appears to have "assault rifle" features, is taboo. People in America, have no idea how well they have it.
Having the ability to defend yourself from bad-guys, no matter who they are..... and the recreational use is the best/most fun part.

You must be a strong guy or very very skilled.
It is too much motorcycle for most.
I like the decal on the fearing.
My husband is a Kawasaki man.
He bought some parts from Japan to modify his Kawasaki ZX12R to go 205 mph.
He said that hump on the back of the Busa adds 5 mph - because somebody tried on the ZX12R and it did add 5 mph.
Having said all that, slow is smooth, smooth is fast, right?

The 99-2000 Busas were the only ones that weren't speed governed. After those, everything else was. I've had about 30 Suzuki's over the years. Kaws are my 2nd choice in Japanese bikes. I've had 4 of those.
My `05 ZZR1200 felt as fast as my Busa, but really wasn't. My most powerful bike, was my mildly modded 2008 B-King. It was a great local bike, by couldn't be used for top-ending. It had no fairings, and the
wind-resistance would starting peeling your fingers off the grips about 155. I basicly started out, on liter-bikes. My first was a 73 Z1 Kaw.

I've thought the same thing....for a long time. It's great to have the info and input, from a Non-American member.
 
I was unaware of Japan and guns also.
I do know they have a great craftsmanship of knives and swords.
Given the immaculate condition of the Nissan factory and the Mitutoyo factory I would like to see a gun range for sure in Japan for sure.
 
Howa has been making quality guns since a long time. They built the AR180 on contract from Armalite. AR-180's come in 3 flavors, Hollywood, Howa, and Sterling. The Sterlings don't have a great reputation. The Hollywood and the Howa are GTG. Howa continues to make sporting rifles today, they have also built shotguns for Winchester and Browning in the past IIRC.

There are not many gun stores in Japan, but there are some.
The place I know is near Akihabara in Tokyo, which is famous for anime-related activities.
Howa is a famous gun manufacturer. They make the AR180 and the Type 89 for the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
