Hello all, I am an Mp5 enthusiast running the Sp5k-pdw. I've been testing the Mp5k for over a year now bringing broader ammo compatibility while increasing shooter experience. I should have some more information for you later on. But for now, I'm glad to be here and hope to make new friends while helping each other out. Thank you for your time and hope to see you again soon!

P.s. like your icon pic. I was a structural maintainer on F-15s
I was APG/Crew Chief on various F-16s & F-4s (1980 - 2000). I even got to work on F/A-18 Hornets in the depot at Ogden ALC; this, when we had a joint depot cross-servicing contract with the US Navy. I had the pleasure working with some of the finest Aircraft Structures Technicians for ten years, while assigned to the 2952 CLSS/649 CLSS at OO-ALC, rebuilding crash-damaged F-16s & doing major depot-level mods.

Welcome to the site. :)
Ammunition comparisons are always welcomed. ;)

Hi Tony, I've seen your posts before and helped me buy some hk 40 rd contract mags, ones even struck. But I think you already have date codes for them.

Thanks for the kind words!

Awesome! Actually going to school to get an A&P and got some NDI experience too. Good memories, I was with the 366mxs, did everything from repairs to corrosion prevention. Even worked on the custom tail flash art for the wing king and Singapore training squadron. Still in Aviation?

Thank you my Guyanan friend! Now I'm glad I learned all the countries. I bet it's beautiful down there!
I left Guyana when I was 2 years old.
I joined the Air Force when I hit 17 years old and I was sent back there with an Army team to do jungle training in the interior of the Guyanese rain forest. While there I was the butt of all jokes because of my age… just barely 20 at the time. I got tired of it and yelled at one of the Army guys… they laughed and thus was born “Guyanaman”! I added the 1963 as my birth year.
Go figure!!

It is really nice there with fantastic foods and wonderful people, but Florida is my home and I love it!

Just retired this last February after almost 26 years with Northrop Grumman. Worked with Royal Thailand AF and Pakistan AF to help transfer former USAF F-16s to both countries and help upgrade their existing fleets. Last ten years, I worked on A-10 program to update all the engineering drawings for the USAF and hold the hands of young engineers on occasion to help explain how things work and that the 'pointy end' goes down the runway first (necessary sometimes when you get the deer-in-headlights stare).

Also interesting politics being technically French? I do believe they had a historic election recently iirc? I'd love to travel around South America, maybe even find a nice place to snowbird to. What a coincidence about florida, I'll be moving to the Daytona area to finish college. Ironically had my tech school at Pensacola too. Though I like the relative safety of maintenance, bushing it out in the jungle is way cooler.

Ah nice, Ik it's an odd thing to appreciate, but coming from F-15Es to hearing an A-10 is like a lullabye followed by a BRRRRRTTT. Crazy coincidence, talked to a guy or two with NG several months ago over the phone about an opportunity. Always great people, cool work, and various opportunities.

Tech school had me in Pensacola for a couple of weeks, but more time at Hurlburt.
Daytona is really nice and I think you will enjoy it.

They are or were 3 Guyana’s. Im from British Guyana which is now just Guyana, but theres French Guyana and Surinam (Dutch Guyana).
Lots of political turmoil there since they have massive oil and minerals reserve.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to meet one of the original engineers that helped design the A-10 for Fairchild Republic Corp. (now Northrop Grumman). He was 88 years old and still employed with NGC at the time. We were surprised to find out that he was drafted as a young 15-yearold teen into the Hitler Youth during the end days of WWII with Germany. He mentioned that there were many former German engineers & JU-87 'Stuka' pilots that had a huge influence with the design of the A-10; their goal, to design the most survivable attack aircraft in the history of aviation. He passed away right before Covid hit...while still on the A-10 program.

@Guyanaman1963 Interesting history you have. I had to look up British Guiana history and creation of today's Guyana. As with all the other countries in the world where the Brits 'touched', they drive on the wrong side of the road there in Guyana...
Yeah they touched it alright!!!
I was a royal mess trying to drive down there!!!
