I've had these for decades. Really don't have a clue. I know they're black, new, and 30-rounders....LOLhk mag.jpghk mag 2.jpghk mag 5.jpghk mag 4.jpghk mag 3.jpghk mag 6.jpg

My guess would be National Magazine: ;)

- 30-round steel magazines (HK)(no dates- chrome follower, cleaner/thinner welds, and dimples/nipples at top and bottom of front spine of magazine and/or bottom of rear
spine of magazine; deeper recessed hole at top curved); bottom of magazine base plate (top- larger horizontal rectangular recess; lower center- vertical raised line; bottom-
2 smaller vertical rectangular recesses on each side of the vertical raised line)(Iranian contract)(blued)

- 30-round steel magazines (MCP- Max Capacity Products or LIQ/MCP Liquidators)- no dimples/nipples; deeper recessed hole at top; curved; plastic wrap in white box
(parkerized)

- 30-round steel magazines (National Magazine)- no dimples/nipples or welds; slightly recessed hole at top; straight (dark blue)

- 30-round steel magazines (South African)- no dimples/nipples or welds; deeper recessed hole at top; straight (shiny blue)

I'm curious as to why HK didn't make a curved 30 rnd mag for G3; to me, straight mags scream cartridge 'tip' issues due to the tapered design of the cartridge. I once had this 30 rnd mag but never used it, but at least someone had the insight to curve the lower portion, albeit looks like someone's highschool shop project gone wrong...

This design is more reliable in feeding than the straight.
