HK CC9

Picked up one of these yesterday, used.

Whoever owned it before me didn't seem to like it very much.

It was brought into Sportsman's inventory on 07/11/2025 (sticker on box).

I don't think it saw many rounds through it.

What does everyone has to say about the CC9?

Congratulations!
While I dont care for striker fired weapons, The CC9 has a nice little trigger. It’s easily concealable and not as snappy as I thought it would be.

My SIL just got one with the optic on it already, I really maybe shot 25 <> rounds, I didn't like it at all but maybe it was the optic.

Other than the known accuracy issues with them (certainly disappointing for HK since they've historically had a high degree of accuracy with most of their pistols), I'm curious what dislikes others have with them? I get it if some prefer hammer guns. Is it the size relative to competitors (P365)? Is it the aesthetics? Is it simply FOMO and annoyance that it's not the SFP9CC? Let's be specific.

From my standpoint, as long as it's durable and reliable, my other main concern is accuracy. Namely, how does it perform at 25yds, since that's where problem guns tend to really fall off the rails, whereas ~10-15yds can mask some accuracy issues. On another forum, several highly experienced shooters were seeing ~4-6"+ groups, whereas similar-sized competitors (P365, G43/43X, G26, etc.) with the same shooters were seeing closer to 2-3" groups.

I'm genuinely asking. When the CC9 was first released, I was excited and strongly considering switching to one for my primary carry gun. After seeing the accuracy issues, I've held off to see if it ended up simply being an initial batch with defective barrels that would be corrected, or some other issue. So far, it's looking like HK won't be doing anything to improve the accuracy situation, which is rather disappointing if true.

I had the opportunity to get my hands on a CC9 last week at Impact Guns here in Utah; price was right at $599 (before tax). Cute little pistol and would be a nice CC gun. The trigger return is absolutely excellent (IMHO). Albeit having an OR feature, that kind of kills it as a CC (if one added). The magazines looked kind of cheap. The employee said they can't keep them in stock, and I was looking at their last one they had (they had sold four others earlier in the week). I didn't know these had any accuracy issues (as mentioned above). Anyway, I passed on the CC9 after seeing a MR223 A4 'pistol' hanging on the wall (drool). But...I promised my wife not to buy any more guns, so I walked out of the store empty handed (for now).

NO MORE GUNS???? AHHHHHHHHHHH

I hated my CC9. Just another little striker pistol. I hate strikers, and little pistols.
I put about 3 mags thru mine, and realized it wasn't any better than my little PC Shield I sold.
