First of all - welcome to the forum. Can you shed some light on the two different recoil spring guides shown in the pic?

I honestly do not have any idea why those are different, I will have to break them down to see if that adds to the confusion! They all have the guide rods they came with when purchased. Perhaps another member will chime in with invaluable information for us!


Update #1

Disassembled two stainless USPc 9mmx19 for a closer look.

The KI (1998) production uses a solid guide rod with a circlip to retain the spring washer:

The BF (2015) production uses a split guide rod without a circlip to retain the spring washer:

Most parts suppliers (like Numrich) do not seem to know these options even exist!

Could be based on the manufacturing years. :unsure:
