FOOD What's For Dinner

Last night, I did a MMissile take on some lasagna.
Doctored bottle sauce
Ground Italian sausage
Red, orange, and yellow sliced peppers
Lots of whole-milk Mozzarella cheese
3 layers of lasagna pasta

I cooked the peppers with the sausage, then drained well.

Not traditional, but VERY tasty...

That my friend looks good! Did you use those pre baked lasagna noodles or just traditional lasagna noodles?
 
Pre-baked? [hard in Barilla box] . Between the sauce and a cup of water... they cooked perfectly. I covered it with foil for most of the cooking time. Just lucky, as it was all an experiment. LOL

It was awesome, though.

Tonight, it was some Cajun belly-warming....

We did chicken Andouille sausage etouffee, in a crock-pot.

Smoked chicken Andouille sausage
Etouffee rice mix....doctored-up by myself, of course
Fresh French bread rolls and good butter

Our Easter dinner. I made a Southern omelette with onions and sausage, hash-browns, and country sausage gravy...with wheat toast.
Just me, my wife, and Edie....
