Considering purchasing an HK SP5 and making it into an SBR- however if want to swap out the plastic fantastic polymer lower for a metal one and am wondering how easily this would be? Any info is appreciated, merry Xmas gents.

If I go for it I’ll want to swap the trigger housing for an all-metal one as I’m not a fan of the plastic fantastic lower.

Really warming up to the idea of SBR’ing an SP5 …this thread has me thinking about it more and more.

I find it better to simply avoid Taurus’ altogether.

Nah- they’ve been out of business awhile (both Interarms and Potomac Arms). Johnny Richards passed away about 10 years ago. IIRC Potomac Arms was upstairs and Hunters Haven was downstairs?
