I came home from work early....let’s just say I’ll be looking for a new job soon as I was sold a line....I spent my day on my safe place working on a project.....whatcha think?? I have to weld on the receiver stiffeners, rear sight mount, mid mount for an AA tripod mount, a short pic rail...

Realized I need a locking plate for my HK21 build. Anyone have one? I could also use that little pivot pin too.

Spent the afternoon/evening in the shop doing some welding. Have the trunion in, feed mech housing welded on, the feed mech fits in, the barrel head space looks good, so now I need to add the rear stock pin bushings, semi auto shelf, and then work on the shroud....10 hours and counting at this...

Well at this point I wish I could afford to feed it as all my spare money from my business has gone into this R&D project for building this gun as I have other wanting to see how it turns out. If all goes well...I’m likely going to be building a few more. Parts ain’t cheap when it comes to HK...

Came home to man the sump pumps so I’m going between the machine shop and the house keeping an eye on things.....water is still coming up outside but the basement water level is staying the same (holding our ground so to speak) Here’s the SD project all put together. I dug out a B&T side fold...

I was up at 5am this morning so I could paint it before work.....might be good Home early as Dad called....he has 4” of water in the basement. Let’s just say we have some flooding issues around the house......2 of the 3 ways out of my little town are flooded over and the 3rd was getting close.
