I managed to get a few rds down range on the P8 today, my "new" German Foe-Hammer, LOL, nice SA trigger and it feels comfortable in the hand. Accuracy was excellent with a nice group @ 25. Overall nice shooting pistol. More to follow. Cheers.
So I installed a set of the XS suppressor height sights for the VP9L, rear sight went in about a third of the way, and then was easily centered with the MGW sight tool. Front sight just "slipped" through? unusual with my limited sight installation experience, however this was the first set of XS...
I use "cleaners" and "lubs" daily, so I'm always interested "new" products and what works etc, it really seemed to provide an excellent lubricant during the test? and act as an average cleaner.
I watched the Project Farm review video, seems to come out OK, just wondering what any real "end users" think? and if it affected any finishes like Cerakote etc? Thanks in advance.
Holmes, the A1 has the "night sights" not Trijicon though, and the slide was "beefed" up for the 40S&W cartridge the Germans originally used. This is from my memory, & I'm no "historian" bro.
I just recently added a PEQ and wanted to use the Magpul M-LOK tape mounting switch plate Insight PEQ to mount the remote switch? just wondering if it would work on the RHAG? since I'm pretty sure it's not M-LOK? if not, what else is out there that is similar and could be made to work? maybe the...
Well I'm certainly glad I got my P8A1 when I did, and as far what's happening? well "when they pry my cold dead hands"
On another note? with this asshat in power for another 2-3yrs, its made me revisit the idea of moving south?, I've got about 3-4yrs left and then it's on to retirement, if the...
Ya, no "sour grapes" or disappointment, I've been around alot of "DA" style pistols, so just an observation. I will say though, the fit & finish and maching is exceptional, it's impressive. I kinda missed that is some of my "other" pistols.
I gotta be honest the DA trigger is well (n), about as worse as the SIG DAK, IMO, however the SA is OK, and the "cocked and locked" feature works for me. Cheers
