Both rifles now sport USGI wood and correct parts for each manufacture including bolts, op rods, trigger assemblies, sights, etc.

Correct bolt arrived yesterday for the H&R. Minty!!!

The darker stock is kinda interesting. Someone scratched "KVAXS" on the forearm. This stock has some serious mileage on it. If it ever had a cartouche stamped on it, its long gone now. But, there is a hint of some really nice wood underneath all the grime.

Stocks arrived today. Gunbroker had these listed for $21 for the pair. Pleasantly surprised that the lighter colored one is a DAS marked H&R stock. That will hopefully pair up well with the H&R receiver. Can't tell much yet about the other one. It has 70 years of cosmoline and dirt to get...
