    93 clone lower replacement

Ok - so the C93 goes bang, it does not cycle, but does go bang once, I can even manually cycle it and get it to go bang again, but no joy with the semi-auto function, lol. I watched the bolt closely and it moves rearwards a fraction of an inch and then closes. (It does not move enough to cock...

    93 clone lower replacement

Yes, these are retro rifles, trying to modernize them with modern add ons feels like putting a Choate folding stock on a Mosin Nagant. Nice SBR - I'm digging the wood. I was really pleased with finding the scope, it came from Norway via. DKProductions in Kentucky, the guys who are bringing in...

    93 clone lower replacement

At the shop today So... 1. In picture #1 the OP - that lower had not been trimmed at the back and was still in 91 configuration, so we ground that lip off neatly. 2. The Century receiver was bulged in the center, so we put an HK mandril inside it and forming HK receiver "elements" outside the...

    93 clone lower replacement

Looks fine from the outside, but inside the lower it is a mess of grind marks and scratches..

    93 clone lower replacement

Yes, I think you're right, I'm thinking the shelf area (although larger than a FA rifle) might still be a little too small for the Century receiver. The lower the C93 came with was a horribly dremilled up and converted FA military style lower (see pic below) Looked like the "snip and shelf"...

    93 clone lower replacement

The lower is clipped and pinned, and the semi-auto only trigger pack drops in perfectly. The issue I am having is in attaching it to the receiver, it just won't fit. My concern is with the century C93 receiver not being able to accept anything except the funky plastic lower/grip it came with.

    93 clone lower replacement

Hi guys, I have a clunky plastic lower on my C93. Today I picked up a clean metal replacement lower and cannot get it to fit. (Also a surplus sight unit. I like the retro look) The rear of the lower near the retainer pin slips over the receiver, but the "front" on the lower is too narrow to...

My three roller lock rifles. Wannabe HKs, lol.

Decades ago - I learned to shoot on with L1A1 - When I came to the US, I bought L1A1's and FALs as they were intimately familiar. I'd never shot a roller lock rifle until recently. So, I am moving slowly, and "cheaply" lol! They are so much fun, I will buy an actual HK someday, but for now...

My three roller lock rifles. Wannabe HKs, lol.

My Three roller lock rifles: 1. PTR PDW SBR in 7.62x51mm 2. PTR in 9x19mm 3. C93 in 5.56x45mm I shoot these and enjoy them - we've gone through a lot of brass. I will by an actual HK at some stage, but, I treat these like lego and try different variations and parts and shoot them to hell. It...

    Questions ref. PTR 91 PDW

I have just received mine, it looks great. There have been some haters on-line of course. Wondering what sort of mods people have made here to keep their PDW's running smoothly, or to avoid future catastrophes. I hear a HK21 buffer is a good replacement. Also fitting a heavier bolt head...

    HK Pack to Semi Conversion

Sorry for the over-due range report - Bill's trigger pack worked great and broke very crisply far better than the PTR trigger. Thanks for the heads up.

New PTR at the range today.

Really is a fun carbine to shoot, I like the fake suppressor, the pencil barrel being ugly, but, would be better served with one made of plastic as the steel adds weight to the set up. The Franklin lower is fun, but just a way to burn ammo, the tuned trigger is amazing and great fun to shoot...

My PTR Clone at the range today.

Note on the movie: I could not get the body locking pin to set right in the Franklin lower. But it was less fun to shoot than the beautifully tuned lower I bought on this forum, so I just put it away eventually.

My PTR Clone at the range today.

Took the PTR 9R to the range today to make some steel ring. Had a great time. I'm starting cheap and have cobbled the accessories together from a few months browsing classifieds. But it's a whole lot of fun and almost certainly a gateway drug, lol!

New PTR at the range today.

Did another trip to the range. Tried out some accessories, today. Stock (Original MP5A3) Surefire Forearm - (flashlight doesn't fit below barrel shroud so is safe and sound elsewhere.) Lower was from this forum, it's a metal lower, with the trigger tuned. The Franklin lower was also through the...
